Contraceptive Technology Innovation (CTI) Exchange Youth Council
The Contraceptive Technology Innovation (CTI) Exchange (https://www.ctiexchange.org/) is a global platform for increasing global access to resources on contraceptive research, development, registration, and introduction through collaboration and knowledge sharing. The CTI Exchange is managed by FHI 360 (https://www.fhi360.org/) and promotes collaboration among donors, researchers, product developers, policymakers, and service delivery organizations. This application is intended to gauge your interest in participating in a new Youth Council (YC) that will be established in 2021 as part of the CTI Exchange as we seek to build momentum around youth engagement in contraceptive research and development.
The YC will provide students and young professionals with the opportunities to:

Connect with other young people interested in contraceptive research and development worldwide through online and welcoming spaces to share ideas.

Collaborate and build momentum around effective, equitable, and accessible contraceptive technology through focus groups and blog posts.

Advocate for youth-related issues by giving input about the organizational, project, and financial priorities in organizations working in family planning.

Benefit from career development through networking with current experts in contraceptive research as well as other students and young professionals.

Help inform the future of the field of family planning by engaging with other youth working in the space.

The estimated time commitment will be one hour a month for a virtual meeting with the opportunity to pursue projects like focus groups and blog posts outside of that meeting. This is a volunteer position.

Thank you for your interest in this imperative work!
