This Counselling Skills Training (BASIC MODULE) is not just a talk or webinar. It is a specially designed courseware to equip individuals with core skills and a sound body of knowledge. At the end of this program, you will be able to conduct Therapeutic Interventions, basic Assessments, and Counselling Case Conceptualizations. You will also be able to identify client needs and apply basic people-helping skills, and/or refer to clinical therapy.

  - Egan's 3-Step people-helping model
  - Boundaries & Self-Care

The course will also cover tools & skills-training in:

  - Reframing tools (Context/Content)
  - Goal-setting tools (S.E.T.)

When you complete this course with 100% ATTENDANCE, you will receive your SOA (Statement of Attainment), recognised nationally under Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ)

Glenn is the course developer and master trainer of CST (Basic, Intermediate, and Advance). He is the consulting curriculum and instructional designer for various training programs in the areas of human performance, rehabilitation, and outreach platforms. As a Human Behaviour Specialist and Psycho-Educator, he has trained nearly 500,000 professionals, social workers, counsellors and educators. He has worked in government agencies as a subject matter expert, and lectured in various institutions including SIM, SMU, Social Services Institute, and private institutions like IAL, LLI, ECTA, Boxhill, TCA etc.

As a practitioner, Glenn is an accredited TA Specialist (Transactional Analyst), CBT Practitioner (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and Master NLP Expert (Neuro-Linguistics Programming). He is also credentialed in 40 over psychological profiling instruments, and numerous other clinical modalities. His artful integration of these models helps him unlock deadspots or stuck issues in clients.

Glenn's specialty is in strategic therapeutic interventions. He brings with him 18yrs of ground experience and scientific knowledge, and augments his work by lecturing and training others. He has the unique gift of integrating evidence-base studies to practitioner data, making his lectures piercingly insightful, dynamic, and up-to-date.

Glenn also consults coaches and counsellors in supervision work and mastermind groups. He frequently conducts train-the-trainer and coach-mentoring programs at agency settings, and also supervisors case management teams in case formulation work.

This program is conducted as a  "LIVE", in-person training at a centrally located venue in the heart of Orchard Road
