"Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you are a part of". – Author Unknown
Volunteering provides tremendous benefits to the volunteers themselves. You will have the opportunity to increase your sense of involvement and ownership, expand your social network, exercise your unique skills and talents, and even at times help others in need. The rewards are many!
The information you provide will be shared with CBE leadership. The CBE committees/groups that may contact you, depending on your interests, include: 50th Celebration, Adult Education, Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Buildings and Grounds, Communications, Religious School, Fundraising, Membership, Na'aseh/Social Action and Ritual. We also have five new Amudim ("Pillars"), which are: Engaging All Demographics, Governance/Operational Excellence, Communal Jewish Values, Financial Sustainability, and lastly Volunteer Engagement, the group who created this form.
