Sept. '21 CAMunity Music Leadership Program Application

Ready to take your music career to the next level? Consider applying to participate in the CAMunity Music Leadership Program. This initiative provides musicians with a FREE six-week professional development program designed to promote the further growth and development of our local music economy and to research the effectiveness of providing an educational program like this.

Students and faculty from CU Denver's College of Arts & Media (CAM) will lead the sessions, to be held Saturday afternoons, beginning September 18, 2021 from 1-3 pm. Special guests from our music community will also join us. While some sessions might be in person, most sessions will be held online through Zoom. There are no materials required to participate, and NO FEES.  Access to a sufficient internet connection and to the Zoom platform are the sole requirements.

The CAMunity Music Leadership professional development program welcomes any and all Denver area musicians EIGHTEEN YEARS OR OLDER to apply to participate. However, current CU Denver College of Arts & Media students are ineligible for participation. Space at this time is limited to thirty participants.

The tentative list of topics to be covered can be found at https://tinyurl.com/CAMunityschedule2
Additionally, with each session we plan to include networking opportunities and to explore helpful organizations and resources available to musicians in Denver and the state of Colorado.

To apply to for enrollment, please complete and submit this application by 11:59 p.m. on August 28, 2021.

If accepted into the program, we hope that you will agree to be interviewed, surveyed, and/or filmed for documentation and to obtain feedback for use in the research component of this program. We also hope that you can confirm your availability for all of the sessions. For any questions regarding the study,  this program, or the application process, please email Associate Professor Storm Gloor at: storm.gloor@ucdenver.edu.
