  1. Being something of a prepper I usually keep 2-3 months of
necessaries to hand. In January when the news started reporting the Wuhan clustercluck I bought some additions to my goods and deepened my stocks of comfort goods including TP. I did this because after nearly 70 years of watching people act like idiots they would get nutty and start panic hoarding while mobbing the stores, so I follow rule #1 in how to stay safe:
    “Stay away from crowds”.

  2. I am staying home today just because I have a slight swelling in my left leg which has caused me to get very sick before if I push myself too hard. This is the first time that I have called in sick in forever, better to be safe than sorry. I will be fine by tomorrow to run my local routes but going to Missoula today I might be pushing my luck. Of course by Tuesday it might be moot especially if Jay Inslee quarantines the entire state of Washington which I hope he doesn’t. We don’t even know if we’ll get our weekly shipment of flowers on Tuesday. We’re all playing it day by day right now not knowing what the heck is going on. I despise the media for blowing this way out of proportion.
