Legacy Planning - What Happens to Your Research After You're Gone?

with Patricia Burrow

Legacy Planning usually refers to your will, trusts and medical directives. Have you thought about what is going to happen to your family history research?  Those file cabinets, folders, binders and archival boxes full of memorabilia?  Do your children know what to do with it all?  We all know that, if it looks “important”, it has a better chance of avoiding the dumpster cut.  Let’s talk about some of the things we can do to ensure that those hard found stories do not get lost again and our family history research is preserved for future generations.

This class is limited to 35 participants and is one of the free benefits for CGS members. Non-members fee is $20.00 (non-refundable) and can be applied towards a CGS membership the day of the class.

 Pre-registration is required.

Registration confirmations will be sent to the first 35 participants who register. Additional names will be collected and placed on a waiting list in case of cancellations.

Walk-ins will not be admitted.
