AMD flagship RX 7900 XTX GPU for less than $890
ASRock lowers the price for the flagship Radeon model.
In late March, PowerColor slashed the price of its RX 7900 XTX Hellhound graphics card, marking the first time the XTX variant dipped below $890. However, as April kicked off, those discounts vanished. But now, ASRock is stepping in with a price drop for its Phantom Gaming model.
While the Phantom Gaming model isn’t ASRock’s top-tier SKU, trailing behind the likes of Taichi, Taichi White, and its high-performance Aqua models, it still packs a punch. This version boasts an overclocked speed of 2615 MHz (+115 MHz) and features a robust triple-slot, triple-fan cooling setup.

With the RX 7900 XTX dipping below $890 for the second time, it appears this could become a more frequent trend. With 7900XT models now commonly priced at $699, AMD’s high-end lineup is appearing stronger than ever. This improvement can be attributed to the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series and the release of more competitive models in a similar price range.
Currently, the RX 7900 XTX is being sold at a $110 lower price point than the RTX 4080 SUPER, its direct competitor. Neither AMD nor NVIDIA are expected to have any major GPU releases before the next-gen GPU launches. The only thing left is to compete on pricing.
