Registration begins 4pm on Friday, retreat ends at 2pm on Sunday, optional extra until Monday 2pm.
BOARDING & CAMPINGBoarding includes all meals and accommodation. Ensuite rooms have private bathrooms. Standard rooms have shared bathrooms. There are limited numbers of single, double, and twin rooms. Single rooms are allocated on a first-come-first-booked basis. After this, twins will be allocated. Please indicate if you know whom you would like to share with, otherwise we will allocate someone (same gender).
Camping includes all meals, and access to shower and toilet blocks. Please bring your own camping gear. We only have 8 camping spaces available.
ACCESSIBILITY
Sleeping accommodation at Broughton Sanctuary is spread over 12 cottages across the estate. Our daily retreat activities will be based in the Avalon centre. Avalon is wheelchair accessible, and a number of bedrooms in cottages are ground floor. Please indicate any accessibility needs in the form below.
MONDAY ADDITIONAL DAYWe offer an additional day with a lighter, more informal schedule. The main retreat will end 2pm on Sunday and the additional day will begin from 3pm, ending 2pm Monday. We ask attendees leaving on Sunday to kindly begin their onward journey before 3pm. Please note that the additional day is only available to attendees joining the main retreat.
BASHIS
Part of our spiritual practice is developing our capacity to serve and we have a comprehensive framework to help us develop this. If you have attended two or more Threshold retreats and would like to volunteer to be a bashi (helper), please indicate this on the registration form. We will share more details and explain the framework with bashis before and during the retreat registration.
CHILDRENChildren are welcome to the retreat where parents would otherwise be unable to attend. Please ensure that your children are carefully, lovingly and properly supervised by a responsible adult that you bring with you. The main hall should be respected as a quiet, adult-only space. Children below 3 years go free.
Your child-minder will need to book a place on the retreat at the full rate.

TRAVEL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTThe nearest train station is Skipton (there will be taxis at the station and it is only a 10 minute drive to Broughton Hall).
