A nice update! It's cool to have so much babies in such a short timespan, it fits with the theme of a young fort. I always just mash every kitten and puppy into the a (single) cage in the great hall, because no dwarf will adopt them in that state and they give dwarfs good thoughts and occasionally they're useful for experimental purposes. But sure I guess you can just butcher them... Anyway JimmyTheD is doing fine on update frequency right now. I'm home from my trip, fairly shattered, but a good night's sleep will put me right. 3rd post is updated. I've put in the three lego things so far but if it winds up being a huge number I may switch to just linking them, or perhaps build a gallery to link to if I'm feeling ambitious. I also have a fuckload of legos boxed up somewhere so if I'm really feeling ambitious I could perhaps re-create the fortress in lego. Probably not though because I'm lazy. Leperfish threw a party to celebrate our "victory" over the kestrel. Leperfish needs to wake up and realize that we didn't accomplish jack poo poo. An undead fleeing from Bronzestabbed is not a success. It is a failure. To fight evil, you must crush every source of blight. We need to destroy every undead and slaughter all of the wildlife, for it is only a matter of time before all animals become infected. We have done none of this. The kestrel has escaped, taking the foul murk with it. And though it alone is not a threat, we must think of the creatures it will inevitably infect. It starts with a kestrel, but because of this there could one day be a murk zombie dragon charging towards us. Oh they don't believe me though, saying that such a tiny creature could never cause so much harm. Clearly they don't understand just how big of a threat evil is. Nobody does, and that is why we will inevitably fail. Several children have been born in this fortress already. These children will be raised on ignorance, like all dwarves before them. They too will do nothing, unless something happens to make everyone in this fort realize just what we are dealing with.

For those interested - LDD's FOV is an absolute bitch. It's like having a digital camera with a 200mm telephoto zoom at all times. Also the "dwarf" legs are immobile, so I'm going to have to find a creative workaround for any action. I think what I can do is have a "default pose", then remove most of the minifig and just manipulate the legs somehow, capture that, and then superimpose/edit the images.
