About this event

Zikaron BaSalon (זִכָּרוֹן בַּסָּלוֹן, “memories in the living room”) originated in Israel. It has become an annual international Yom Hashoah social initiative. Family, friends, and guests gather in private homes to remember the Shoah in an authentic and intimate way. In this time of social distancing, Zikaron BaSalon will be held online to commemorate the Holocaust, listen to speakers and engage in meaningful conversations about Yom HaShoah.

We would like to invite you to join Phoenix Holocaust Association in a virtual (zoom) meeting on Erev Yom HaShoah Wednesday April 7 at 7:30PM (Phoenix time) for a Zikaron BaSalon meeting. We will hear testimony from Holocaust survivor Marion Weinzweig, listen to a poem written by the Holocaust survivor Anna Geslewitz and have a discussion focusing on the memory of the Holocaust and its significance in our lives.
