It’s been 20 years since Joe Walsh‘s last solo record, 1992’s Songs for A Dying Planet, but on June 5th the Eagles and James Gang guitarist will break that silence with the release of Analog Man. Filled with steady rockers like “Hi-Roller Baby” and “Wrecking Ball,” not to mention heaps of hot licks (check out the beginning of “India”), Analog Man can be streamed in its entirety here, and you can pre-order the record on iTunes as well.
“I had a really good time doing this album,” Walsh told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “It was great to get my brains out onto a CD. I really think I’m back, and it’s not going to be another 25 years until the next one.”
