The #YoungWarrior movement aims to engage 5 million young people across India to lead action against COVID-19, with the support of YuWaah/UNICEF.

An orientation session was held for teachers to engage students more meaningfully in the #YoungWarrior movement through 5 engaging and informative art-based sessions for their students. To disseminate the session details amongst all teachers and students, schools are requested to nominate at least 2 teachers as nodal points through this form. Those who have registered previously need not register again.

Starting 22nd July, the classroom sessions will be held as per the schedule below. Teachers can either conduct this LIVE in their online classes or allot a suitable time with their students to conduct the same. The sessions are expected to be held in a blended manner, with 30 minutes for the YouTube session, followed by 30 minutes of activity as per the teacher’s manual that can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/2UlAvj5

Session 1: Vaccination Buddy
Date: 22nd July 2021
Timing: 12 noon to 1 pm
Description: Through this session, students will learn about steps to prevent and combat the virus. They will be informed about the need and urgency for vaccination.

Description: Through this session, students will understand their emotions and themselves during the pandemic.

Session 3: Fake News

Description: The students will learn how to advocate and promote right information by learning to identify fake news

Session 4: Covid-19 Recovery Tale
Date: 12th August 2021

Description: Students will learn how to take care of their immediate surroundings and family members. They will be informed about the signs they need to look out for Covid.
