Want to lose a finger? Put 12 editors in a box and make them pick the 100 best videogames of all time. What you'll get is a dozen bruised, scratched up, hoarse, irritated, smelly people who at one point during the debate said, "What's with all the SNES games?" or "The Saturn kicks your ass and you know it!"
But in the end, after all the fuss, 100 shiny games made the list. These games aren't necessarily the most influential, or even the most highly rated. They are, quite simply, the games we'd most likely be playing now if we didn't have all this new stuff.
Since every gamer has his or her own ideas, almost no one will agree with every selection that made the Top 100. But that's okay. Argue amongst yourselves. Call us insane on the message boards.
