Work today was horrible. Again, the packages were not sorted yet and I helped with that. I got the same van I had yesterday, but there was a major problem. The gas gauge was reading 1/8 of a tank, but when I go to fill up, it would only take a few dollars of gas before the pump would click off. I figured the gas gauge was off, like it is in some of the vehicles. I found out the hard way that the gas gauge was accurate...I ran out of gas. My coworker came to help me out, after purchasing a gas can and some gas, but we couldn't get the gas to flow into the tank. It didn't help that the gas can had one of those childproof nozzles that was restricting flow. He went into town to buy a funnel, but couldn't find one. At the same time the clerk's sister pulled up to help. She had seen me on the side of the road, and called her sister, who told her to stop and help. She had a special funnel that came with her suv, because it has one of those caps you do not have to take off to refuel. (I neede to check into this, because Belle has the same type of cap.) It worked. I had previously called the post office and spoke with the clerk. Apparently, this can be an issue with these vans. You just have to keep putting gas in over and over while the pump repeatedly clicks off. It makes fueling up a major pain, but I put in 10 gallons that way. I ended up with 3/4 tank.

That was just the worse problem, but not my only problem. Some of the packages were misnumbered, causing me to deliver packages to the wrong address, and I had to fix that blunder. This mishap caused a one-off difference between my scanner and the number on the package that I had to deal with for the rest of the day. I'm just glad to be home.

It's currently 97 which was the high for today. Even though I had ac in the van, I was hot all day. It must have been worse for those who ended up with an LLV, which only has a fan, no ac.

Sorry you had a rough day. Mine was actually pretty boring. I was more than ok with it since I was super tired this morning.

A couple days ago I realized that I had not had any candy or cookies I put in my cabinets. At that point I grabbed a couple tootsie rolls. Had the same thought today and got a couple cookies. Still haven’t had any of my canned fruit or my much loved Jelly Belly Jelly Beans.

INHO this is very good, Chocolate Drink.
    Vanilla milk froth-cap-3%
    Milk chocolate-jf-2.5%
    Marshmallow-tfa-.3%
    Dark chocolate-vt-.5%
    Caramel butter-wf-1.5%
    Salted caramel flavor-fw-1.5%
Looks good. I’ll have to try it. I think caramel butter makes everything better.

    Morning, mixers.

Bad news...my ac quit. I'm using a fan, plus the ceiling fan to try and keep cool, not too effective. Last night I took 3 showers to cool off, I'll need to call the property manager later this morning.

Hope they can get someone on it asap!!

Still cool here, still about 10 below normal. But due to change, shortly.

Our high is supposed to be 97 and we are already up to 82 at 8: 30. Too hot for no ac. I had to get dressed and get to work straightening up the house, although it's too hot for even shorts and tshirt. I don't know if they are going to come fix the ac today or tomorrow. I have physical therapy later this morning then I'm going to deliver packages for my own post office. The good thing about this is I get to use my own vehicle.
