I glared at him.
“I guess we can go.”
“I’ve never been to a real lake,” Izzy commented.
The other kids agreed.
I figured we couldn’t be missing that much.

We, or I, decided we could leave tomorrow.
“Why not today?” James asked.
“It’s too late in the day to start flying.”
“No, it’s not.”
“Yes, it is,” I growled, starting to get annoyed.
Then Stone stepped in.
“Hey James, lay off buddy.”
James backed away and then ran.
I laughed.
I guess he was still afraid of Stone.

omgosh, ive been gone foever. my computer was busted...again. well not really my computer, just my internet. but its the same thing, right? any way, the story is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! and if im ever off at days at a time, then its probably my computer

Stone sat down beside me. He slung an arm around me, pulling me close.
“You okay?” he whispered.
I nodded.
“The runt’s still scared of me, huh?” he said with a laugh.
“Yeah,” I said with a smile.
He looked into my eyes.
I gave him a shy smile.
He leaned closer, if that was even possible. He pressed his lips gently against mine.
I savored the kiss.
