Challenging conversations, especially surrounding sensitive topics like identity, power, and privilege, scare us. Rarely are we taught how to engage in such conversations in a way that is productive, powerful, and yet still grounded in principles of invitation and safety. As our social media feeds, government, college campuses, workplaces, and communities continue to reflect a world grappling with the effects of structural and interpersonal violence and oppression, understanding how to have "tough talks" is necessary to not only effectively advocate for a just world, but also to model a vision for these conversations that is non-violent and healing.
Join the Justice Informed team on Thursday, November 30th as we provide an overview of our Tough Talks framework and offer our top 10 tips and techniques to engage in challenging but necessary conversations around identity, power, and privilege. Q&A will be available after our short presentation.
A Zoom link will be shared with attendees 24 hours prior to the webinar.
