Eleanor, Grace,Caroline, and Penelope are the legacy women of the Rocking K fat. Each woman weaves a story of her time and journey, beginning in 1810. Each story has a different author and their story is unique. The journey is hard, times of joy hardship and triumph. It was hard to put down at bedtime. The story ends in 1910 and you will be glad you read this book.
I also enjoyed two new authors whom I will look forward to reading again.

This novella collection by two familiar authors (Kimberly Woodhouse and Mary Connealy) and two new-to-me authors (D.J. Gudger and Becca Whitham) was so good! Each author contributed a story of a strong woman dealing with hardship in one way or another while maintaining their trust in God.

The four stories tie together well and it felt like I was reading one full novel instead of four short stories. The research into each time period depicted was evident and I loved learning about the Wyoming territory/state. There were some eye-opening truths regarding Native Americans that I found fascinating.

The importance of God and faith and trusting Him with your life. I'm not a fan of novellas, but I enjoyed this series an recommended it to any history lover.

This book is definitely one you want to read. The multiple talented authors did a wonderful job of making the stories fit together so fluidly. I enjoyed each story and didn’t want it to end but also found myself looking forward to the next one so I could continue reading about this amazing family. I enjoyed that they tackled some of the tough moments in history and showed the hearts of the people and how they truly may have acted. The faith aspect definitely blessed my heart. This book definitely put the spotlight on the importance of a relationship with God and a strong family bond. Love it!

It was encouraging and showed how faith and trust in God brought them through good times and hard times.
