PreK in Family Child Care Project (PKFCC) Kickoff Webinar

Jul 14, 2022 1PM – Jul 14, 2022 2PM Virtual
Details

Amid a continuing child care crisis exacerbated by COVID-19, it is more important than ever to ensure that families have access to high-quality early learning opportunities for their children in settings that meet their needs. Many states and cities allow family child care (FCC educators) to deliver public PreK in their homes, but little is known about the implementation of these initiatives.

Researchers at Erikson Institute (Juliet Bromer and Samantha Melvin), the Delaware Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood (Rena Hallam and Jason Hustedt), and the Equity Action Coalition (Iheoma Iruka) are launching a new PreK in FCC Project to better understand state and city strategies, successes, and challenges in delivering PreK in FCC settings.
