GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A woman is dead after an argument with a man inside a Gwinnett County home overnight, according to police.

Gwinnett County police report that officers got a domestic call near the 4100 block of Hillsborough Drive around midnight, after a child called 911 and said that there was an argument between a man and a woman in the home.

Police say 35-year-old Tiffany Trim was found dead inside the home when officers arrived. They were told the suspect had just left the scene on foot.

The children in the home were not hurt, and according to police, they were not related to the victim or the suspect.

Patrol officers, K-9 and aviation units responded to the scene to look for evidence while homicide investigators spoke with possible witnesses.

Gwinnett County police believe the incident was isolated, as the suspect and victim knew each other.

No word has been given about the suspect’s identity.
