So, I realized that there are certain things that some people aren't comfortable RPing... I thought I'd bring it up at the beginning of an RP session instead of in the middle of the RP so it dies in an akward and embarrassed silence.

I AM LOOKING FOR 2 PEOPLE TO DO AN RP WITH.

This will be a romantic RP, but it will have the ability to have other genres in it. I'd like for the three characters to all be in a relationship together. Preferably just how they met each other and the trials that come with caring about more than just one person.

It can be complete yaoi, complete yuri or a combination of the two sexes (or even cross dressers or those that are both). It can be mythological, science fiction, fantasy, youth or any other flavor. It doesn't bother me to be either a guy or a girl. I've played all kinds of roles. But I haphazardly ended up in an RP with a three way relationship (it was a group RP, but she fell for 2 guys at the same time) and it was extremely interesting.

I'd like to get something like it started again. I really do request that you be able to type more than 2 or 3 sentances in a post. My posts are generally a few paragraphs long. I'll be getting examples of my work here before too long. If you're interested in this, or you just like my writing style and the subject matter isn't something you're interested in... post here or PM me. I'd be happy to have more RP partners.

Well then, I guess that just leaves one more person. I like your style of writing already...though it took me a while to figure out what was wrong with the URL in your link before I got there. You've got an extra HTTP in it... and the 2nd one doesn't have a : in it. You may want to edit that out of your signature.

This is a pretty cool idea. Admitedly I've never tried something like this before but I'm more than willing to give it a go and I think that it could be a lot of fun. I've recently played both guys and girls so no problem there and I'll be happy with whatever genders the characters are.
I'm quite fond of fantasy-based RPs so could we maybe bring an element of that into this RP?

Well if everyone is ok with each other, then we can all decide on genders and start picking out a storyline to follow. Should we do something mythical based? A battle between three kingdoms? Each one of us the reigning dignitaries who happen to meet and fall in love on the battle field?

Or perhaps something smaller scale, like magical creatures in a forest? People that meet at a wizards school? Tons of ideas from me, just throw something out and we'll see what we come up with... we can pick something out once we have everything on the table.

The idea of magical creatures is interesting but maybe instead of a forest they could have their own small teritory in a kingdom. I'll try and explain my idea a bit more clearly. The realm of humans and magical creatures co-exist but in the realm of the magical creatures there are different valleys and forests etc where different creatures dwell and usually they do not ineract except when necessary for council meetings, diplomatic missions and things like that. That's kinda combining two of the ideas that you mentioned above but I also like the idea of the three characters meeting on a battlefield.
Or what about if there are two ruling classes of magical creature and they have been at war over a slightly smaller area of land and one race has one the war but as a sign of good faith they send a someone to act as a liason between them along with a new 'gift' for the ruler of the losing race in the form of the conquered creatures. I probably didn't explain that idea very well...:sweatdrop: hope it's understandable though.

Mirani~ I think I understand what you're saying. Two kindgoms at war, the upper fae and the lesser fae. One side wins. In an effort to make peace the winner sends a liason to work as an ambassador and another to be a "gift." I might be a little off but that's the general idea right?

I think I might have an idea.
There is a kingdom. Within this kindom are three territories at war with each other for reasons not yet known. The leaders of the three territories meet in what is intended to be a three way session of hand-to-hand combat to end the dispute once and for all. At said meeting the three beings fall for each other at random points throughout the fight. They decide to lay down their weapons and talk. It's only a beginning but it kind of incorporates all of the above ideas in some small way.

Nimh: That's the basic idea but there was an added twist because they were fighting over another teritory that was inhabited with another race and they sent one of the conquered race to the lesser fae as a peace offereing, maybe the former leader or something.

The idea of a three-way combat is quite interesting as well. Either that or it's a kind of council or something. What about if there are three warring nations (like you said) but there is a new threat on the horizon and to defeat it they must get past their differences and learn to work together. They agree to a council meeting with just the three leaders and things go from there but I may be overcomplicating things a little.

I'm thinking three way combat... dual of sorts... only instead of sending their magistrates they send their greatest fighters (us) each of them are from a different race. I think that they could have a short time of peace before having to fight the greater evil. Give them time to know each other before they have to work side by side. It would be very comedic if it happened right away, but probably with less bickering after, this'll make the RP go a little longer to because it'll kinda be 2 part at first.

On the genders because everyone is neutral... I'd like to try something fun. Flip a coin... if it's heads, you're a boy, if it's tails, you're a girl. And once we flip it, we post what we get. This'll add a random factor into it. (My coin flip produced a girl, so if you like the idea, just do it and then say it on your next post.) Once we have our gender, we pick out what race we want to be from. We should make a list first and make sure that we're not picking the same thing. From trolls to fae to elves and nymphs... halflings, to dragons, unicorns to dwarves. I don't wanna leave anything out. I can't think of everything myself, so just throw out some classes i haven't already listed and we'll go from there.

It probably is enough...we may try adding the weres though if we're gonna have vamps. (Werewolves, wereleopards, ect.) Witches are also close, so maybe things like Necromancers as well? I was thinking to add to the randomness we could make a list of out 12 favorite (be specific on your element if you're picking an elemental creature) and go to this website... Virtual Dice pick the 12 sided and whatever number it lands on, that's what you should be. Go ahead and list which options you have and then which one was chosen. (If you know for certain what you want to be, just pick one. I just think it's fun leaving things to chance.)

Good plan. I'll need to find some good pics for a human and dragon form too. That'll be the hardest part I think, finding a decent dragon form. I love dragons though so it'll be fun!
