C. Mer unit wins Panama hospital project

The company will set up three mobile hospitals in the country.

A wholly owned subsidiary of C. Mer Industries Ltd. (TASE: CMER) has won a Panamanian Ministry of Health tender to set up three mobile hospitals in the country. The project is worth $21.5 million, and will be carried out in 2011-12, after which C. Mer will support it for three years.

The Panamanian government announced the win on its official website. However, the decision is not final, as the tender terms allow appeals to be filed within three business days.

C. Mer's share price rose 1.9% by mid-afternoon to NIS 38.83, giving a market cap of NIS 295 million.
