Dear Suzanne,
What a wonderful surprise to come to work last week and find a box marked ‘perishable’ in my mail. I have subscribed to the Dear Reader column for five years and have sent several letters in hopes of being a recipient of your famous chocolate chip cookies. They were well worth the wait! You certainly went above and beyond the call of duty to bake them with an impending hurricane. I am a librarian at our public library in Sierra Vista, AZ so of course I had to share my good fortune with the rest of our librarians. As you can see, we are sampling the cookies in the stacks of our library while looking at various books about cookies.
Thanks again, Mona Baker
P.S. I am the second person on the left. Joining me is our Director, David Gunckel and librarians Kate, Susan and Cathy.

We loved the cookies. It gave me an opportunity to meet with my sister and sister in law at a local restaurant. Everyone was curious about the cookies and the pictures. Our waitress was kind enough to snap these pictures for us. Thanks again for the cookies and the memories. Love,
Terri

Suzanne, since you asked, unfortunately many of the chocolate chip cookies were crumbled, I am assuming by the careless hands of UPS. They must not have known what precious cargo they were transporting! :) That, however, did not detract from the taste and thought and care behind them. I have enclosed a photo...made with love and shared with love... A big thank you to both you and your husband, I LOVED the cookies.

Dear Suzanne,
Has it been a week plus since our anniversary and the arrival of your wonderful cookies?!! We had a great open house in our home. Many friends helped us celebrate our 50th anniversary. Thank you Suzanne for being a part of the celebration. In Christ, Jo and Jim
