Now I can plug it Into my hdmi from older composite cables. The quality is good as I don't expect it to be hd quality but I really recommend this product.

Awesome for older gaming consoles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I are in our late 50s and still have older devices. This "ONN" HDMI to Composite AV adapter is great for older DVD and CD players. It's compact and easy to set up. It comes with a power cord and has a sleek design that makes it easy to set near your equipment. My husband is enjoying using this with his DVD  player. You could also use this with an older Nintendo device which we have.

HDMI to Composite AV Adapter

I have an older TV and was in the market for a Blu-ray player.
Unfortunately, most players now require a HDMI connection in order for players to work and I thought I was doomed to buy a new TV  (my current Mitsubishi TV doesn't have this connectivity, and I am oddly attached to it)

Luckily, the salesman at Walmart knew his stuff and suggested I purchase this HDMI converter rather than buying a whole new TV.  I took the Converter home with my new Blu-ray player and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up!  
Within 10 minutes I had it up and running.

Highly recommended for anyone who 1.) has an old TV they love and cannot bear to part with, 2.) has an assortment of Blu-ray movies 3.) wants to watch Blu-ray movies on the beloved old TV but cannot do it because old TV does not have a HDMI connection.

Life Saver!

Absolutely works. I have a vintage room with a console TV. I spend most of my day in this room. Wanted to find a way to stream using this TV. This did the trick. If you need to convert any HDMI item to a composite input. This will work. I did it using a VCR because the TV itself only had coaxial input. Included a picture showing it works

Now this is Back to the Future

This device has pal and ntsc I have only used the ntsc option and so far it works great for a composite converter it will be more blurry then a regular component device but works pretty good for people who don't want to give up there old analog tv

Absolutely horrible product. Onn is a cheap brand that makes cheap products. 

Despicable that they're even allowed to sell products that just flat out don't work. Doesn't work for any gaming system, which they don't specify. There's no trouble shooting, it's literally just a product that doesn't serve it's intended purpose. I'm sure it would work for dvd players, but most TVs without AV cables are smart TVs, which would be able to play any movie or show already lol. People are obviously buying this for games, which don't work. The company should rly stop manufacturing these bc it's honestly just unethical to make a product that doesn't work. There is a board inside, I know because I opened it up to see if there was even anything inside at all. I honestly might have had a better shot at playing my wii on my smart TV by plugging my wii into a sheet rock wall. 

Horrible horrible horrible. Walmart stop selling this junk so they have no customers to sell to. 77 1 start reviews should tell you to stop giving these people money. Really soured my day, got all hyped to play wii and now I can't because of advantageous unethical companies that 100% know their products don't work but sell them anyways.

Horrible for any gaming system, don't buy

Hisense ROKU TV does not acknowlege most HDML inputs. This one to 3 RCA inputs did work but the picture is blurry.

Did not work well for ROKU TV

I bought it and spent several hours trying to get it to work and it never did. The TV never recognized it and another input source. I returned it, paid $20 more and just bought a new DVD player. My advice to you is do not waste your time or money on this thing.

Save your money on this and buy a DVD Player

Bought this adapter today and it doesn't work. Amazon Fire TV won't recognize the source of HDMI when the HDMI cord is plugged into the adapter. I know it's not the HDMI cord because i tried it with other media devices (computer, phone, and DVD Player) on the same TV and it worked.

Don't Buy!

Bought to connect my wii to the TV and it didn't work at all! Too bad I threw away the box, otherwise I would had returned it. I looked at other reviews afterwards to see if it was just a bad product, but other reviews said it didn't work for gaming either. Even thought it claims to say it's for gaming system too. I would not recommend at all.
