The Senate Education Committee will be holding a hearing for SB 871 which “allows home schooled students to participate on an equal basis in extracurricular activities offered at the public school they would otherwise be required to attend”, will get a public hearing on Friday, February 11 starting at 1:15 pm in the State Capitol, conference room 225.
Home schooled students, parents and supporters are encouraged to submit testimony to the committee at https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/emailtestimony/ and attend in person, if possible. Questions? Please call 586-8420.
