Joachim Wagner built a one-manual organ in 1738 for the Stiftskirche in Rühstädt. The instrument was enlarged in 1844 by Turley and rebuilt in 1888 by Lütkemüller. In 1917 the front pipes were requisitioned. These were later replaced by zinc ones. In 2005 the organ was restored by the Waltershausen company and returned to its original state.
