This year's conference will take place across two days. At this event, you will have access to current STEM students who care about your success; university staff members who are available on-campus to support your success; renowned guest speakers on topics including time management and study skills; and over 100 peers studying STEM enrolling at your institution this fall. This will be a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual sessions that take place across the University System of Maryland.
Day one takes place on Friday, September 30, and includes the following sessions:
3:30 PM - 6:30 PM - Navigating YOUR University
Day two takes place on Saturday, October 1st and includes the following session:
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Skills for Student Success
Locations: The event will take place on the following campuses, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, and Towson University. See location details at each institution below:
UMD - Kim Engineering, KEB 1105
UMES - Carver Hall Conference Room
UMBC - On Friday, we will be in Sherman Hall 003. On Saturday, we will be in Meyerhoff Hall 030.
Towson - On Friday, we will be on Towson's campus in SC 4230.
On Saturday, we will meet at 8:55 AM at the Student Union Parking Lot and take a shuttle from Towson to UMBC. We will then attend the conference at UMBC in Meyerhoff Hall 030. We will take a 12:45 pm shuttle back to the Student Union Parking Lot at Towson.
