The Calgary Real Estate Board has released some numbers about Airdrie house prices and they just keep going up.

Sales activity in Airdrie continues to be hampered by a limited supply selection. With 260 new listings and 225 sales in May, the sales-to-new-listings ratio remained high at 87 per cent and did not significantly change the inventory levels.

Conditions are tighter than they were at this time last year,  as there is less than one month of supply.

Prices trended higher for the fifth consecutive month as a result of the current tight conditions.

Despite rising to $502,900 in May, the benchmark price is still below the all-time high of $504,200 set in April 2022.

While detached home prices have risen to a new record high with a benchmark price of $587,200, overall residential prices have not yet reached new highs.

While in Cochrane, even while the benchmark price of $515,600 is below the monthly high of $517,900 reached in June 2022, if conditions continue to be this tight, home prices may continue to rise over the coming months.
