Cardio Oncology Healthcare Provider Survey
This survey is being conducted as part of a research study, which is IRB exempt at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (IRB# 300009757 ). Only data from those who submit the completed survey will be assessed. Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary, and lack of participation will not affect your relationship with UAB or the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS). You may withdraw from participation at any time including after providing your consent to participate. As with any research study, there is a risk of breach of confidentiality although minimal. If disclosure of responses occurs outside of the research study, participants will not be reasonably at risk of criminal, civil, or financial liability. Although you may not benefit directly from survey participation, your completion of the survey will contribute to better understanding educational needs of healthcare providers in cardio-oncology.
The purpose of the survey is to understand where in your health career training you might have learned about cardio-oncology. It is also to gauge where the gaps are on engaging health professionals in training about cardio-oncology. Lastly, we want to know about what educational content is needed and how best to distribute it regarding cardio-oncology.
