They're about these present day kids who have special powers, so they're trained in this secret world called "The Guard" because this evil goddess goes back in time to kill certain people and such, to alter the present so that she rules the world. Also, they're are a BUNCH or love triangles going on. It might not sound good, so my older sister forced me to read them, without letting me know what they are about, so I wouldn't be like, "They sound dumb" and not read them. So, however bad it might sound, they are the best books ever.

Well for example, one guy really likes this girl, but he thinks he can't be with her, because it'll cloud his judgement as the leader, and she'll be put in too much danger.
