  1. Good Morning, Everyone šŸš€ MOON RE-GIVER? šŸš€

šŸŽ¶ Fly me to THE MOONā€¦Let me play among the starsā€¦šŸŽ¶ ā€œFly Me To The Moonā€ – Mr Frank Sinatra 1964 https://tinyurl.com/2p9fkxva

šŸš€ I like to see Jeffā€™s drawings as they MORPH from page to page,
There must be that old hard PRESS to keep readers all engagedā€¦
And the Jumbleā€™s daily AGENDA isnā€™t easy by no means,
The words and all the cartoons that create for us these scenesā€¦
Weā€™ve seen Apolloā€™s coverage, and a GOTCHA came to mind,
But the variations in graphics are truly a great findā€¦
The theme might be the same, but with the drawing? No logjamā€¦
Itā€™s always fun with puzzles that deal with our SPACE PROGRAM! šŸš€

I think I may have mentioned before how ever since the pandemic, Iā€™ll stand in front of the opened refrigerator and have no clue as to what it is I was looking forā€¦and yetā€¦I spot a Jumble and the bells start ringingā€¦Case in point todayā€¦Two past puzzles immediately came to mind, and I pulled them out of the Archivesā€¦Iā€™m pretty sure that they both feature Jeff and his family from 1969, and I love the nuances of each compared to todayā€™s. Iā€™ll put them in a separate post if youā€™re interested in seeing themā€¦

Soā€¦We had no problem getting todayā€™s puzzle OFF THE GROUND..but the Early Birds and I did spend some time discussing GOTCHA. Yes.ā€¦it is a ā€œrealā€™ word. https://tinyurl.com/2f9harwn And Iā€™m hoping it doesnā€™t send a few of you into an ORBIT. But once again, the solve is no FLIGHT of fancyā€¦itā€™s a lock. Our question? ā€¦ā€TV Documentaryā€? (Program)ā€¦The dialogueā€¦ā€wanted to be an astronautā€, ā€œplanetā€?ā€¦Itā€™s all about Spaceā€¦And not to mention our cartoon..That in itself is enough to FUEL the fire! Theyā€™re watching a SPACE PROGRAM!

And while we may not be seeing Jeff and his family in todayā€™s cartoonā€¦we are seeing three generations of another. And weā€™re seeing Apollo 11ā€˜s moon landing https://tinyurl.com/2j2pbhsm ā€œagainā€ā€¦only this time years laterā€¦And itā€™s still out of the world to witnessā€¦

Soā€¦There you have it Folksā€¦Done. Be wellā€¦and stay safe out thereā€¦šŸš€šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

    • I didn’t think “gotcha” was an actual legit word so even though I considered it, I didn’t write it down and became flustered as that was the only word I couldn’t get, in my book.

      • I too got caught up with that one. However, after solving the puzzle, I realized I needed G,O and C. Gotcha was the only word that fit.

  2. These are the two past Apollo puzzles I referenced in my post. The first was from November 25th, 2015, and the second from September 07th, 2018. As you can see, in the second one Jeff acknowledges the characters as being his family, but looking at the first, you can see the resemblanceā€¦And the dialogue, while spot on with the first, grew better with the second. Jeffā€™s art work? Stellar! Note the cigarette in the earlier cartoon. and in the second, the actual moon landing complete with footprints, the tear in his Momā€™s eye, and the toy rocket in his hand. So many more detailsā€¦

    • Today’s J and all of them this week were relatively easy yet fun!
Since we are starting a short heat wave in SoCal (94 today, warmer tomorrow) I am hot to trot on the Jumble!
The Masters is one of my favorite times of the year and Tiger is back!
I will probably hang out in Butler Cabin all weekend watching the tourney. As a past Masters winner I am always welcome…………………

  3. šŸš€ Obsessed with anything to do with the SPACE PROGRAM, ever since he was a child heā€™d pretend to MORPH into various characters, calling out ā€œGOTCHAā€ here and thereā€¦and it became his AGENDA to continually PRESS his Mother to buy him more and more spacecraftsā€¦šŸš€

šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø He heard him utter ā€œGOTCHAā€ as he played up in his room,
Heā€™d MORPH into a villainā€¦most times it was Dr Doomā€¦
Lately his new AGENDA was defeating all thatā€™s good,
And Dad chose not to PRESS himā€¦just a part of childhoodā€¦
    Heā€™s acted out a zillion partsā€¦the kid was a real hamā€¦
And Dadā€™s hoping his next interest is with the SPACE PROGRAM! šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

  4. Good morning thirsty Thursday ! Yes the song ā€œ fly me to the moon ā€œ by Frank Sinatra was the first music heard on the moon as Aldrin stepped on the surface !! Great song ! Ok , the jumbles keep coming down Pleasant Street , cause I have had no problems with the last three in a row ! When I saw the letters , the one word that came right out was SPACE , and the remaining letters were MRPRGOA , I said GOTCHA ! I couldnā€™t PRESS any harder on my pen ! Just another day at the fun jumble to MORPH it , so whatā€™s on my AGENDA is to wish everyone has a great thirsty Thursday !!! And congratulations on a great SPACE PROGRAM !

    • Good Morning, Jim. Wishing you the sameā€¦šŸš€šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

  5. Good morning. Had no problem with the words but the cartoon answer left me grounded on the moon. I chalk it up as being too complex and not spacey enough. I chilled out with the perfect song choice which brought me back to earth. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • LOL! Good Morning, Paul. Tks. Be well and stay safe out thereā€¦šŸš€šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

  6. Very nice of you, Angela, to explain that GOTCHA is a word….it was no blind solve, so couldn’t back in that word. I went to Jumble Solver to put in the letters, and sure enough, it was correct. With that stumbler out of the way, the rest was easy to solve. As always, love those Sinatra tunes and this was spot on. There is this TV channel that shows vintage films and yesterday was a F.S. marathon. I really liked his acting and movies. Remembering Tony Rome and Danny Ocean, for sure !!!

    • Iā€™m with you, Terryā€¦You can never go wrong with Sinatra. Gotcha? Pretty sure itā€™ll be the stumper of the dayā€¦šŸš€šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

  7. Gotcha jumped out at me but I had to check that it was a word in my dictionary. It could have been a real Gotcha moment. Like millions of others, my family gathered to watch the moon landing. I remember mothers all over the neighborhood calling kids in to make sure we saw history. I used the space program for lots of school projects/reports. There were so many photos available in the periodicals of the time. Frank Sinatra, as always, a beautiful choice, Angela! (I didn’t know Mig O’Connell was a former Masters champ! Or were they playing us?)

  8. I also got gotcha right away but had to look it up to make sure it was a word. The rest of the puzzle was fun to do. Until tomorrow have a great day

  9. Gotcha got me as I didn’t think it was a real word, but after looking it up on an anagram solver site, the cartoon was a quick solve.Yes,my then almost wife,we got married in Sept 1969, watched the landing live at my Aunt’s house.

  10. Like others, I saw gotcha right away but looked it up to make sure it was a proper word. Saw program first and then space followed easily. It was an exciting moment in history to be sure.

  11. Most players didn’t know GOTCHA was a real dictionary word. Oh well……..
