More than 500 participants were part of a staff forum this morning to discuss important information about the start of the 2021 – 22 school year. Tomorrow, we will host a virtual family forum. If families have not already registered, it's not too late - please visit www.rcsdk12.org/forum. Additionally, a back-to-school guide for RCSD families and a return to work guide for staff are available on our website.

This week, we teamed up with three of our community partners for an RCSD Takeover. This past Tuesday through Thursday, we joined our summer learning partners from Skate Luvers Roller Palace, the Rochester Museum and Science Center, and the Strong National Museum of Play to offer fun summer experiences. More than 1,500 RCSD families took part in reengaging with one another, igniting student interest in science, humanities, and more. I personally got to visit with students at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. It was an absolutely incredible day that filled my heart.
