As we near the launch of the Horror Hub (our cross platform, retail friendly gaming and horror fan hub) we have launched the FEAR Platform Dashboard. Here FEAR Holders can track the key stats impacted by the Horror Hub. Lets take a deep dive into each stat and it’s relationship with the Hub.

FEAR Holders

Displays the sum of all Unique Holders across our supported chains. What do we mean by Unique Holders? If someone owns FEAR on all three chains they are counted as a single holder.

For each gamer that downloads the hub, logs in via google with their FEAR Wallet and purchases FEAR via their credit card the holder count will increase by 1. So as we see more and more gamers flow into the retail friendly Horror Hub we will see this count increase.

Its important to note that this count also takes into account passive holders that are not playing our games so this count can be impacted by external things outside our platform. At least one FEAR token has to be held in a wallet to be counted in this stat.

FEAR Wallet Accounts

The total number of FEAR Wallets created so far. This stat has a heavy association with the number of gamers using the FEAR platform via the FEAR Wallet. Currently we only have one game integrated which means Araya has 163 players so far.

As we onboard our existing Whack IT games and new higher quality games we can expect this stat to increase. Currently we have 15k unique visitors a month to the FEAR website mostly looking for Whack IT games, the Horror Hub allows us to convert these gamers easily. The average gamer who visits our website spends four minutes browsing content which means we have a large window of opportunity to encourage the downloading of the Horror Hub.

FEAR Fees Generated

The total amount of FEAR that enters the Fees Wallet from two different channels.

The first is our staking farms. Any stakers wishing to leave staking early pay a 20% (The Crypt) or 25% (The Tomb) exit fee. This fee flows directly into the Fees Wallet. The Fees Wallet is cross chain which means it exists on both Polygon and BSC. This stat reflects the sum across both chains.

The second is of course the Horror Hub itself, all content be it Games, Films, Animations, NFTs and Blood is purchased in FEAR. The content is dollar denominated meaning FEAR price fluctuations do not impact how expensive the content is. The Fees Wallet is the direct beneficiary of this scenario!

What happens with the FEAR in the Fees wallet? Annually, FEAR holders will vote on spending/holding/burning proposals submitted by the FEAR project or curated by the community. This may include FEAR stakers receiving a increased APY%, x amount of FEAR being sold to fund a community members project, a token burn, or simply holding onto the tokens for the coming years.

FEAR IN CIRCULATION

The amount of FEAR currently in the market that is tradable and accessible. Currently we are still going through our vesting period of FEAR for seed and private investors so we can still expect an increase. However as we come to the end of this period (Nov 25th approx) and our platform matures it should become the key determiner of the circulating supply.

When a gamer makes a purchase in the Horror Hub an important sequence of events takes place…

1. The gamer downloads the Horror Hub
2. Logs in with their Google Account
3. Purchases a Game…
— > a. Using Transak a credit card purchase of FEAR is made
— > b. Transak acquires FEAR off the open market
— > c. The FEAR enters the gamers FEAR Wallet
— > d. The FEAR is sent to the FEAR Fees Wallet
— > e. The gamer is issued their Game

This same process is repeated for all consumable content on the Horror Hub. The exception being some content may be free or monetised by more suitable channels such as advertisements.

More on the Horror Hub, it’s supported platforms and how it utilises the FEAR token will follow in upcoming articles.
