Lamptron selling fake licenses for AIDA64
Der8auer investigates an issue with the AIDA64 license bundled with the Lamptron hardware monitors.
According to the video, Lamptron is selling its hardware monitor displays with illegal serial keys for the AIDA64 software. The software company has confirmed that Lamptron has only ever purchased a single key for the Extreme version, but the company has never bought a Business license that is supposedly bundled with many of their products.
Lamptron displays are essentially secondary monitors connected through HDMI that use external software to display system information directly on the screen. These screens can be purchased separately or added to cooling components, such as the CPU cooler. However, the data is not generated by Lamptron software; it relies on the AIDA64 data through the available API. The issue is that for the monitor to work, users need to install AIDA64 software.
According to Der8auer, Lamptron is selling its products with illegal keys that were generated by key generators. The keys listed on the product code are not in the AIDA64 system and the company has confirmed those are illegally generated keys. In fact, once users try to update the software, AIDA64 will report that the keys are not legally obtained.
First Email
We understand your concerns regarding the “Free Version” license included with the cooler. Unfortunately we’ve discovered instances of Lamptron bundling invalid AIDA64 licenses with their products.
When we became aware of this, we immediately contacted Lamptron and requested they cease this practices.
Although they registered as a reseller two years ago and placed a single order for AIDA64 Extreme, it’s unclear if they ever bundled valid licenses with their devices”Second Email:
Unfortunately, none of the product keys you shared are valid in our system. This strongly suggests they wre generated illegal using a tool like a KeyGen.

Lamptron products are now disappearing from retail stores across Europe. Roman claims that these retailers are now considering legal action against Lamptron. Despite numerous attempts, the company has never replied to any of the emails.
Even two days after the video went live, the company still claims to be offering a Business license of AIDA64 with their products. Some retailers have indeed removed the product, while others are now listing the product with ‘free trial of AIDA64 software (subscription required)’. Needless to say, the product, which costs $270, has just become even more expensive.
