Confident Communicating: Summer Camp Public Speaking for Younger Students
Class experience
Students will learn public speaking in a fun, interactive way through activities that are age appropriate. The first class will begin with the discussion of the importance of public speaking as well as ways to make speaking less stressful. The activity will include each learner speaking for approximately thirty seconds at a time in a continuous story telling setting. We also learn how to give detail. Homework Offered
Students will be challenged to practice narratives throughout the week so they will for more relaxed when speaking in class. This homework will be informal and entirely optional but will help their confidence level.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
