The role of wandering domains in Holomorphic Dynamics

This is a meeting on Holomorphic Dynamics with a particular focus on wandering domains, funded by an LMS Scheme 9 celebrating New Appointments grant.

Wandering domains, those Fatou components which are not eventually periodic, have attracted the attention of several experts in the area in recent years. Remarkable progress has been achieved using techniques from Approximation Theory, Complex Analysis, Theory of quasiconformal mappings, Topology etc.

This meeting will discuss recent developments on the topic as well as the main open questions. Its aim is to bring together experts in Holomorphic Dynamics as well as early-career researchers.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 19 July at the Open University, Milton Keynes (Alan Turing building, room 306). If you would like to join the meeting online please contact the organiser at vasiliki.evdoridou@open.ac.uk.
