Preference will be given to the applicants belonging to neighbouring villages (within 16 kms radius) around the Plant Site. In case, all the given trades/disciplines are not filled/met by the applicants belonging to neighbouring villages, merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in that particular trade/discipline for selection from other applicants who do not belong to the neighbouring villages.
The candidates will be selected for training on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI course.
In case of tie in the percentage of marks, the candidate born earlier shall be considered.
In case of tie in the Date of Birth, candidates with higher percentage obtained in Matriculation will be placed higher on the merit list.
A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease. He should not be suffering from any disease, which is likely to be aggravated by apprenticeship or is likely to render him unfit for apprenticeship or to endanger of health of the public. He should be free from evidence of Tuberculosis in any form, active or healed.

The engagement of the apprentice is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the Competent Authority as per the requirement of Corporation
