LA GRANDE — The COVID-19 pandemic jolted the lives of members of the La Grande High School class of 2023, but it also gave them the opportunity to draw closer and be more appreciative of their teachers.
That was the sentiment of a number of graduating LHS students following the school’s graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 3. Outgoing seniors discussed what it was like to be forced to take classes online for much of their freshman and sophomore years.
