I've now been running this full set as a stack for about a week now (a bit longer for the Drive + Osteobolin alone) and I had to start this log already. I wanted to catch up on my existing detail log first, but I needed to put this up already :) particularly after todays workout. I will go back in later and fill in some of the past detail but I had to spit this out right after it happened :D

Quick recap, I had already started taking Osteobolin-C at 16 caps a day spread in 2 hr intervals (for the vitamin c absorption more than anything) when AN started their crazy Dirk on vacation contest. I was one of the big winners and nailed 3 of the contests :D as a part of it, I got one of the drive betas. Now I know that the beta I am taking is missing one of the components that are in the final, so imagine the results will be even better with final product.

Over this week although i'm at least 300-500 cal below maintenance daily, i've somehow managed to loose NO scale weight at all. The difference tho is that my vacularity and muscle definition are both noticeably up. In the approx 2 weeks of taking Drive, i've lost at least 3/4 inch from my waistline, while being within a pound of the start weight. For anyone reading this that doesnt know, I've been on a 6 month cut now, so no changes are water weight or any of that initial easy loss. I'm right about 14-16% body fat at this point, with an end goal of 10%. The other product I am currently using to aid in this is DCP, as it is a stim free fat burner, and i'm trying to clip back stims (other than maybe coffee) entirely for a while.

So the excitement of todays workout that forced me to finally start the log? I think I got Neovar just about dialed in now. Any of the nutrient partitioning products take some experimentation to really get right. Because they mimick an insulin response, your insulin sensitivity has a lot to do with how they work out. How many grams of carbs, type of carbs, time ingested, etc are very individual. Its not entirely surprising for one person to need just a single serving oatmeal packet to feel right, and for someone else to still feel hypoglycemic with 2 packs. Today I had one of the EAS Myoplex RTD shakes pre-workout, with 20g of basically all maltodextrin for carbs with a dose of neovar, and immediately post workout had a bannanna and a portabello mushroom patty on whole grain toast with another dose of neovar.

Damn is all I have to say. During the workout I got great but not overwhelming pumps. I could feel them, and felt all "puffed", but not to the point where I couldn't work out. After the post workout dose, within minutes I could see even more of a pump, more vascularity, and even got a little bit of the "skin looking like its paper thin" thing. Now at least I know what that means :D I only got that on my hands which makes sense as there is almost no fat there. But now I get an idea of what i'll look like elsewhere once I get down to that 10% bodyfat. Damn neovar will give some nice effect all over then!

I'll add some more detail about workout scheme and diet here later, or if anyone wants to look now take a look at the detail log link in my signature.

I'm definitely liking the neovar scheme i've developed. With heavier very complex carbs pre-workout (around 40-50g) oats and whole grains and a little bit lighter and also mix of some complex + simpler carbs - fruits + grains, some actual sugar. I get nice solid pumps during the workout, and stay "poofed" all day.

I'm starting to feel like I should have gone for lean bulk with this stack and not concentrated so much on a recomp/light cut. I've started raising my calories by a fair amount, and i'm not seeing any weight gain, which is perfect. I've definitely taken at least an additional 300-400 cal a day this last week, and scale weight is the same. I think I was too low to get full benefit out of this. Now i'm probably close to 2000 cal a day, and i'm still getting leaner, and the scale is staying the same. At the 1500 calories, it may be that I wasn't getting in enough carbs and cals in general to fuel a decent recomp, even with such a solid supplement mix. We'll see how the next week goes. I'm definitely loving the way they feel together, and now I believe the neovar will become a staple creatine product for me.

So funny enough, guess what?

Since I started taking drive about 2 1/2 weeks ago, I was still running at my 1500 or so calorie mark. I hadn't changed weight in at least a week or so before that, sticking to 197. Well over this last week i've been working at raising my calories, just getting to around 2000. Today on the scale i'm at 196...

IGF-2 / Drive / Neovar score, Osteobolin-c not so much :) A nice solid upper body workout, weights went up on shoulders, back and triceps, which has been rare. Usually if I go high on shoulders or back, the triceps are whooped by the time I get to them. Nice aggression, nice vascularity (small veins mind you, but visible, i'll never have forearms like Metroba's avatar) and a good solid feeling pump. I really love a good pump in my lats, more than in any other muscle.

But my elbows hurt, which doesnt happen too often. I know my form was good, so maybe it was the strain of really pushing for the higer weights on everything. Oh well, Osteobolin has helped keep overall issues down, and the elbows only hurt for a little while, they feel fine now (6 hrs later).

Really enjoying this stack, today I picked up 3 bottles of neovar to last me pretty well thru the end of year in that department. I think particularly given its price its a very underlooked at supplement. For $30/bottle you are covered with both CEE and a nutrient repartitioner. Particularly for the afterworkout CEE makes more sense than monohydrate. Quite the deal.

I guess i'm mentally handicapped, as I forgot to talk about progress. I'm still hovering at 196-197, but i've continued to up my calories primarily thru inclusion of more complex carbs, so hitting close to a 40/40/20 now instead of higher protein. I continue to see more definition in my arms, vascularity improvement and decrease in bodyfat. I'll be rechecking with the calipers this coming weekend

Well, my drive is gone :) And pretty close behind the rest, so i'll do a recap of everything here

IGF-2 - I need to try this again, with less of a "kitchen sink" approach to my supplementation. I really didn't notice the IGF-2 either way, but when I started taking it I was already taking Drive, T-Force, and 6-oxo extreme. So its very hard to say as my testosterone levels were probably about as high as my nads can produce already.

Neovar - This completely surprised me. At $30 ($27 right now with the sale at nutraplanet) it is a total bargain. You get the nutrient repartitioning / insulin mimetic activity along with CEE. I found it to give a great long lasting pump, but not so heavy a pump as to be irritating. Neovar also seemed much more tolerant of the range and type of carbs I took in, it was effective at as low as 25g of carbs, and I went as high as 100g and still didn't feel like I overloaded it. This is definitely a staple for me from this point forwards. The combo of 4 caps pre workout and another 4 post workout has me feeling pumped for a good 5-6 hours afterwards. Feels great in the lats particularly :)

Osteobolin-C - One of the things that makes this interesting is the vitamin c added. At the label dose of 8 caps a day, if you take one every 90 minutes or so you keep your body at max vitamin C usage. I've got arthritis (worst in my knees), and over the past 2 months of taking osteobolin c, i've noticed far less arthritis pain and inflammation, to the point where I don't mind doing squats now.

Drive - I had the purple + white betas, which are missing one ingredient in the final. That said, I can't wait to try the final! I noticed drive from approx 2 days of starting it, nice solid focus in the gym, good endurance, and random erections all the time. Morning wood daily too. I'm going to buy more once its available. Over the span of the last month, all my working weights went up. I did notice that I got better results on it overall once I increased my carb intake, I plan to play more with that once the final is out to try and figure out more specifics to it. Of course your mileage may vary with that, as I had been on an under 60g/day of carbs diet for the 6 months prior, so who knows for sure.

Overall a really nice stack. I want to try IGF-2 again without so many other similarly performing supplements, to see its own effect. As a reminder, this wasn't a sponsored log, I bought the neovar + some of the osteobolin myself, and the rest was contest winnings. I'm really glad I decided to buy the neovar to do a full applied nutriceuticals stack too, as its going to be an item permanently in my stash from this point forwards. Its a hidden gem as it hasn't gotten quite the attention as some other partitioning products from other companies. If you use any of the other ones you should definitely give neovar a try.

I still can't believe that there is another nutrient partitioning product that gets all the "wow" factor, and neovar is almost half the price, and includes CEE. Amazing, I'm trying to figure a way to help evangelize it for you lan ;)

Its similar to anabolic pump or yellow gold, but with CEE added, plus a few other goodies. At its price, its pretty hard to beat. I've seen CEE alone in similar doses for that much (ok at GNC, but still). And it seems much more lenient on the low end of carbs without getting the anabolic dumps, and it also doesn't get you overpumped either. I don't like the p-slin feel of ending a workout early or using lighter weights just because the pump is so heavy.

And pslin is more expensive, without the CEE.

You have me drooling over my future stack plans.
You get that added benefit of as a rep managing some amount of free product :) luckily I won about half of this (I bought some osteobolin, and the neovar). I'm definitely a neovar customer for the forseeable future, bought 3 bottles last week....
