Hi Debbie,

I'm glad that the table example is going to fit the bill. I find tables
to be a life saver.

How refreshing and wonderful that you are using Word Perfect. I've
always thought it was the best word processor on the market, and I think
MS Word is buggy and hard to control (no reveal codes you know).
Actually, I really don't like any of Bill's programs, I really don't
like Bill.

Anyway, to do what you want to do in Word Perfect is very easy. Just
make a two columned table in Word Perfect and put in your menu
information. Save the document as HTML. Make a template for the
regular menu in Composer, with the graphics, page properties, etc. You
could call it template.htm. Then open your menu that you saved as
HTML. Tweak the table as needed, then choose Edit Select table, copy.
Then paste the table into the template document. Save the template AS
another file name, and you're all set. I have uploaded a Word Perfect
file in zip format to http://www.arbpen.com/experiments/Menu.zip . (You
should be able to click on it and begin downloading the file - didn't
want to attach a binary.)

Hope this helps, and if you need anything else, let me know.

Good Morning Adrienne:

Thanks for everything! I received your message last night
but I'm so sorry I didn't respond (we had a thunderstorm here
and when that happens I shut down my computer).

The restaurant's menu changes on Thursday but I'll try what
you said and get back to you then!

I'm so glad I asked you to get in touch with me by the newsgroups
because my in-box of my e-mail is still not working.

Thanks again,
Debbie
