And another veteran performer, 70's teen heart-throb, Donny Osmond is back on the airwaves with a new album "Love Songs of the 70's". His latest release is currently number 7 in the UK charts.

"Love Songs" is the 55th album release from the star who shows no signs of slowing down. It's a collection of the singer's favorite love songs from that era including hits like Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" and Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now".

The 49-year-old revealed how he keeps his vocal talents in check.

Osmond said, "It is a muscle, just like any other muscle you have to work it, you have to be careful with it, you have to protect it."

The former child star started performing at the age of five and became an international star with The Osmonds. As well as singing he has been an actor, a talk and game show host, a record producer, a race car driver and an author.

"I had visions back in the 80s of being as big as Michael Jackson or whatever it was, but in hindsight I'm glad I don't have the super super stardom that a lot of other people have, or have had. I've gone through those hard times, yes I've been in the stadiums and the screaming girls and all that stuff, but I love what I am doing now," said Osmond.

After the ups and downs of a career in the entertainment industry, Donny said there is still one dream he would like to see fulfilled -- to be a great grandpa.
