Climbing Aconcagua to support KickOff Solutions

Last year, I made the decision to climb the Aconcagua mountain in the Andes range, Argentina to support an organization close to heart, KickOff Solutions. My journey begins this February.
Aconcagua is the highest peak in the country, in the southern and western hemisphere; standing at over 22,800 ft( ~7000 meters). Whilst I am something of an experienced climber, this represents by far the biggest mountaineering challenge I’ve ever undertaken.
KickOff Solutions serves as a platform connecting funders with Sports-for-development (S4D) nonprofits working in the space of girls’ empowerment in tribal & slum districts, helping amplify impact through funding & creative program designs for a scaled impact. In simple terms, KickOff Solutions aims to solve some of the most complex challenges faced by women across India and Africa. They face the starkest challenges imaginable. As an example, research in the regions shows the following:
- 71% of 40M+ in modern slavery are girls/women
- 30% of women experienced physical violence since 15 years of age
- Every 10 mins an adolescent girl dies from violence
- 38% of the female population is subjected to child marriage
- KickOff Solution’s work aims to act as an early detection of gender discrimination. Reinforce courage and equip women and girls with life skills and a means to sustenance
My climb is an attempt to support the organisation and raise awareness. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate Now' button.
My employer will then match all donations. When the target is achieved it will be transferred over to KickOff solutions.
