Shooting Outside Local Restaurant Leaves One Person Dead
One Suspect In Custody

UPDATED: 8:27 a.m. PST March 17, 2003

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- A person was shot to death early Monday
morning outside a 24-hour West Hollywood restaurant.

The shooting happened at about 2:45 a.m. outside the Yukon Mining Co.
restaurant on the 7300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

Apparently, an argument that began in the restaurant continued outside
and shots were fired, according ot NBC4.

Authorities said that one suspect is in custody.

The victim was taken to Cedar Sinai and pronounced dead.

The victim's name and gender have not been released. Authorities have
not provided additional details about the shooting.

daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. That's who she attacked? I've been halfway
following this thread, but Sylvia killed Crystal? That really sucks. Did
they ever find the motive? Thanks.

I didn't see anything in that article that mentioned
Sylvia Boots or Crystal. Nor did I see anything about
the killer and the victim being transgenderd.
Nevertheless its really a shame. Sylvia did such a
hot scene with Mr.18 that one time that I was hoping
she'd hook up with him in another scene but that
seems like it'll never happen if this whole thread
is true. Then again maybe she'll get lucky and have
Jack Hammer as her cellie so I guess it won't be
so bad for her afterall. In all seriousness though
she'll probably be in solitary cause with her
ambigious physical condition it'd be practically
inhumane to put her in amongst sex starved
mureders and rapists. Maybe they'll just let her
have the "operation" and put her in a womans prison
where she'd be much more out of harms way. She
should have stayed in Brazil. The whole thing is
a real shame, for her and especially her poor victim.

If you've been following the news, on my main page or in the forum,
you will have heard about the tragedy in which Laura was killed by
gunshot wounds and Sylvia has been charged with the crime. However the
case is not as simple as that. The actual quarrel was not with Laura,
but unfortunately she was in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

I don't know what was going through Sylvia's mind that night, or what
her motives were, but I'm sure that shooting Laura was not in her
plans. The way I see it is that all involved got into a situation that
simply escalated out of control.

With that being said, there are those of you out there who care about
Sylvia and will want to write to her and/or send her money. The
donations go into her account at the jail. She can use the funds to
help pay for her legal defense or to simply purchase personal items,

473-6100. The website is much easier however.

I found out that visiting her is next to impossible. Due to her
situation, she can only have 1 visit per day. And I heard that may
even be one per week. I went to the jail on Saturday, but didn't get
to see her for that reason. However I'm sure some mail will help her
feel better.

I wish Sylvia the best of luck with her situation and will be
following it.
