Abstract

The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction and the Region 11 Comprehensive Center are partnering to make evidence-based practices work reliably within North Dakota schools and districts identified for Targeted Support and Improvement to improve equity in access to quality education for all learners. The evaluation study of the systems change to improve student achievement included innovative approaches to documenting and measuring change within the educational ecosystem. The team used available artifacts and conversational transcripts to both capture and track the progress of systems change to drive improvement. Results from Years 1 through 3 are provided to fuel discussion of how systems change to improve educational equity can be measured and shared.
