School Curriculum, Assessment and Accountability Council to meet virtually July 19

(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's School Curriculum, Assessment and Accountability Council (SCAAC) will meet on July 19 at 9 a.m. ET.

SCAAC is comprised of 16 voting members. All members are appointed by the governor.

The council was created to study, audit, review and make recommendations concerning Kentucky’s system of academic standards, assessing learning, identifying academic competencies and deficiencies of students, holding schools accountable for learning, and assisting schools to improve their performance.
