West Midlands Virtual Network – Working with Grief and Loss in Coaching - 26th September 2022

Bereavement, grief, and loss have been dominant themes throughout the past two years at a global and individual level. How much is still to emerge for our clients, as the pandemic starts to recede, and life (and emotions) have been put on hold?  This is a CPD event

 

This facilitated session will provide an opportunity for coaches and supervisors to reflect not just on bereavement through death but also how grief and loss show up in other ways and may be a greater function of our work than we have previously appreciated. 

Julia Menaul is co-author of a book on Bereavement in Coaching and Supervising and will be inviting attendees to join her to contemplate some of the following questions as well as pick up tips on do’s and don’ts with bereaved coachees. 

• How do your bereaved clients show up in coaching? 
• Should you coach them right now? 
• Where is the line between therapy and coaching for bereavement? 
• How can you be of use as coach?

 

Julia Menaul

Julia Menaul, has a background in learning and management development and has been running her own coaching practice since 2001. Julia is an Accredited Master Executive Coach (Association for Coaching), Member of the British Psychological Society and EMCC. She is a qualified supervisor and has been supervising coaches since 2006 and supervising other supervisors since 2010. She supervises many independent coaches (1 -1 and group), as well as internal coaches in larger organisations.

This event is £8.33 + VAT to EMCC UK members, and £12.50 + VAT to non-members.
