The Springfield Climate Justice Coalition is hosting a march and rally on May 20th (rain date May 21st) to demand a cancellation of Eversource's proposed Springfield-Longmeadow gas expansion pipeline and to call for a halt to new gas system expansions in Massachusetts until we have an effective plan for a just and rapid transition to the clean energy system that we need. The event will start in Stearns Square in Springfield, with tabling, music and community connection time starting at noon and the rally beginning promptly at 1 pm. The rally will be followed by a short march to the Bliss Street Regulator station.
