Deputy wrangles horses that got loose in Union County: ‘Victory was his and the day was won.’

WEDDINGTON, N.C. (WBTV) - A deputy was able to help find and wrangle two horses that got loose in Union County last week.

The horses, Neptune and Calico, escaped their local pasture, prompting a response from law enforcement after they got a call to assist with “livestock in the roadway.”

Both animals were located by Deputy Golub somewhere near Baron Road and Weddington Road.

According to the sheriff, Golub wrangled the horses without a lasso or help.
