We invest
in futures.

Investing isn’t just about money. It’s the freedom you have when you’re financially secure. It’s a better life and a better future. That’s why IBD created Moneyworks, a free educational program that we believe can help close the gap in financial education. We want to empower a new generation to learn, save and grow on their path to financial freedom.

The Moneyworks Mission

Our goal is to give a new generation the information and tools they need to be successful in their financial lives.

This is why we do it.

High schools have inconsistent standards with regards to teaching basic financial skills. College students are not taught about how to manage their finances, despite many taking on thousands of dollars in student loans and credit card debt to pay for school. The result is a younger generation facing financial deficits without a solid foundation for how to save, invest and grow.

Moneyworks aims to change this. We provide financial education in the form of in-person and virtual events, an interactive learning portal, online videos and more. We believe that financial knowledge should be available to everyone, and we’re constantly adding more resources to help people of all ages achieve financial freedom.

Our Partners

The Young Investors Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving high school students the opportunity to learn fundamental, long-term investing in an exciting and interactive way.

We partnered with YIS to help support the Global Stock Pitch Championship, their annual flagship event. In addition to sponsoring prizes for the winning students, several IBD experts attended the event as judges for the competition.

About IBD

We're
democratizing
investing.

At IBD, we want to inspire and empower financial freedom. Our founder, William J. O’Neil, is a self-taught investor who didn’t come from money. At the age of 21, he started investing with $500, turned it into a fortune and then decided to share how he did it with the world.
