USE THIS FORM TO REGISTER FOR THE FREE "HOW TO RUN FOR LOCAL OFFICE" WORKSHOP

The annual "How to Run for Local Office" Workshop will be held on Saturday, June 24  from 8:45am - 1:30pm in CBJ Assembly Chambers and is designed to help educate and prepare people interested in running for local, municipal office or school board.

The Free Workshop consists of Panel Presentations followed by Q&A on panel topics. A Toolkit of forms, references, and "How To's" will be provided.

Agenda:

Welcome and Introductions;:
Panel 1: The Jobs of Mayor, and Assembly and School Board members;
Panel 2: Legal Requirements for Candidates;
Panel 3: Campaign Basics;
Panel 4: Deciding and Preparing to Run and Serve.
Presentation 5: Voting Process

There is no charge for this workshop.  Please register so we can  contact you with workshop updates and provide you a hard copy of the workshop materials, if desired.
