We are arranging a seminar series on teaching and learning in the laboratory at the Department of Science Education and would like to invite you to participate. The goal is to develop your pedagogical competences in the teaching laboratories. 

There will be 4 sessions, each lasting for 1.5 hours (with provisional 30 minutes for post-session work), from 12.30 starting with lunch together (please bring your own) until 14.00 (or 14.30). Below is an overview of the topics we will explore. 

Session 1: Teaching and learning in the lab (23 November 2022)

Session 2: Feedback practices in the lab (30 January 2023)

Session 3: Affective learning outcomes associated with experimental work (24 February 2023)

Session 4: Higher-order thinking skills in the lab (28 March 2023)

You are welcome to participate in any or all of the sessions, but overall, the seminars are intended to coherently address various aspects of laboratory work in higher education.
